Our non-profit summer camp for boys on Newfound Lake in New Hampshire is looking for applicants. We hire, train, and coach the best of the best, and Mowglis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mowglis.org\/zh\/about\/staff\/\">boys summer camp counselors<\/a> serve an essential role. Our sleepaway camp for boys is a fast-paced, exciting environment. You\u2019ll have many responsibilities as a counselor, but also a lot of fun, working with Mowglis campers as they grow, learning life\u2019s most important lessons.<\/p>\n<h2>Available Summer Camp Positions<\/h2>\n<p>Our boy\u2019s adventure camp is currently looking for men and women with experience leading the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u6500\u5ca9<\/li>\n<li>Canoeing<\/li>\n<li>Row boating<\/li>\n<li>Crew<\/li>\n<li>\u5e06\u8239<\/li>\n<li>\u6728\u5de5<\/li>\n<li>Nature<\/li>\n<li>Trip leader<\/li>\n<li>Wilderness survival<\/li>\n<li>Backpacking<\/li>\n<li>\u51fb\u5251<\/li>\n<li>\u65a7\u672f<\/li>\n<li>\u6b65\u67aa<\/li>\n<li>\u7f51\u7403<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Boys Overnight Camp Counselor Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p>Our staff is committed to preserving the traditional summer camp experience that has defined our camp since 1903. As part of the Mowglis family, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Leading by example as you live alongside the boys in our open-air dormitories, including participating in and assisting boys with dorm chores<\/li>\n<li>Creating a safe space for the boys to live and learn together<\/li>\n<li>Promoting the health and welfare of every person in the Mowglis community<\/li>\n<li>Managing one of the various camp activities, including up to 4 teaching periods 4-5 days a week<\/li>\n<li>Co-leading day hikes<\/li>\n<li>Preparing one-hour evening presentations for the campfire circle<\/li>\n<li>Participating in camp life, even when you\u2019re not leading an activity<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Camp Counselor Qualifications<\/h3>\n<p>To qualify for the camp counselor position, you must:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Be at least 19 years old and have completed one year of college<\/li>\n<li>Hold previous summer camp experience (camper or staff)<\/li>\n<li>Undergo a thorough reference check and criminal background check<\/li>\n<li>Be a positive, self-motivated role model who always takes initiative<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy being around kids<\/li>\n<li>Be energetic, fun, and motivated<\/li>\n<li>Exhibit superior attention to detail and risk management skills<\/li>\n<li>Possess a desire to effect positive change in young men<\/li>\n<li>Be able to provide a safe and fun environment for campers and staff<\/li>\n<li>Hold an up-to-date CPR certification (can be taken at camp)<\/li>\n<li>Preferably hold a lifeguard certification (can be taken at camp)<\/li>\n<li>Optional: Be able to drive coach boat and obtain an NH commercial boat License (can be done at camp)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>How to Apply for a Counselor Position at Mowglis Summer Camp for Boys<\/h3>\n<p>Visit Mowglis\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mowglis.org\/zh\/about\/employment\/\">employment page<\/a> to learn more about joining our staff and to apply for a position as a Mowglis summer camp counselor.
