Mowglis counselors combine talent and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere that is fun, safe and rewarding.

Our counselors are excellent role models. They are highly trained, trustworthy men and women who absolutely love camp Mowglis and everything it stands for. Most of our counselors are former campers who have returned to Mowglis to keep the campfires burning bright.

Mowglis counselors are selected not only for their skills and qualifications, but also for their ability to work with campers and for the example they provide. Mowglis counselors inspire our campers to be the very best Mowglis men they can be! Some staff members are college and graduate students, others are school teachers, All have completed at least one year of college and are exceptional role-models.

We perform thorough interviews, reference checks, and comprehensive criminal background checks on everyone who works at or for Mowglis. All staff participate in a rigorous 14 day orientation to prepare them for the responsibility that awaits them when the campers arrive.

Our staff are certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR. We employ a full time registered nurse who lives at camp and the hospital is only 15 minutes away in Plymouth. All waterfront staff are American Red Cross lifeguards and all swim instructors are certified Water Safety Instructors. Our trip leaders are all certified in advanced Wilderness First-Aid.

At Mowglis, we place a high priority on the quality, character and training of our counselors and staff.  Please feel free to call or email camp director, Nick Robbins, if you have additional questions.
