Camp Mowglis Sessions

Our seven-week session is crucial to the quality and depth of the Mowglis program. It allows campers the time and space to get into the swing of things at camp, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships.

Most of our campers stay for all seven weeks of the summer, and Mowglis becomes a close-knit community, not a revolving door like many short-session camps. That said, we do offer two shorter session options for younger and first-time campers:

    • A first four-week session, followed by a second three-week session for our “Cubs” (ages 7 to 9). Cubs can also come for the full seven-week season.

    • Older first-time campers are invited to attend for the first four weeks of our summer, with the option to extend their session to the full seven weeks. There are a very limited number of four-week sessions available.

Tuition Options

Mowglis is proud to be a mission-driven, independent nonprofit camp. We are fortunate to receive generous annual support from our camp community to help pay for the cost of operating such a wonderful program. Historically, we have published only one tuition rate, which was subsidized by the donations made by our community. We now refer to that partially subsidized tuition as “Standard Tuition.”

To increase transparency and to give families the financial position to do so, we are offering the opportunity to pay the true cost of their son’s session at Mowglis, now listed as “Full Freight,” which most accurately reflects the actual cost of camp for each camper.

If those tuition options are out of reach for your family, but Mowglis is THE camp experience you are hoping for your son, we want to see what we can do to make it work via our scholarship program. Mowglis is fortunate to have a scholarship fund, which is funded by annual fund donations from our camp community and also from our endowment, which grants a limited number of need-based scholarships each summer. To apply for a scholarship, please select Option #2 and contact Director Nick Robbins.

We recognize that camp is a big investment in your son, and that it is of tremendous value to every child’s development. The tuition a family can afford to pay for an equally valuable experience varies drastically based on their financial situation.

The tuition tier selected by each family is expected to reflect the family’s income level. Our goal is that Mowglis will be populated by campers drawn from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds.

Your tier selection is confidential, and regardless of your selection, the experience and program for every camper will be the same. Every camper is a valued member of the Pack, regardless of family financial status.

Tuition Details

    • A non-refundable registration deposit of $500 is payable when a boy is enrolled and is applied to tuition.

    • Tuition payments are non-refundable after January 31.

    • We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance when you register. Doing so is quick and easy from the camper application.

    • Subsequent payments are due as follows: 50% due on March 15, with the remaining 50% balance due by May 15 unless alternative arrangements have been made with the business office.

    • Tuition payments made via credit card will incur a 3% surcharge (this does not include the initial registration deposit). Save money by paying with checks and eChecks!

Registration Schedule, Sibling, and Referral Discounts

    • Registration opens mid-September.

    • Families who register more than one camper receive a $500 sibling discount on each camper.

    • Tell a friend about Mowglis, and we’ll say thanks if they sign up by sending you $350 (based on 7-week enrollment).
