Introducing a young child to summer camp comes with unique challenges. We understand your needs, providing an overnight summer camp experience specially designed for younger, inexperienced campers. Mowglis camp for 7 and 8-year-old boys offers a shorter, 3-week program length and flexible activity schedule. We also limit enrollment and provide a higher 3:1 ratio of campers to counselors, creating a more personal camp experience to help your child adjust to his first time away from home.

Technology-Free, Traditional Summer Camp Fun

Our camp facilities, located amidst beautiful forests, lakes, and mountains, just hours from Boston, Providence, New York City, and Albany, offer the perfect atmosphere for fun and adventure. At our overnight summer camp for boys, your child can disconnect from electronics and reconnect with the world around him, learning essential life lessons that encourage physical, mental, and emotional growth. Here in our school of the open, he’ll experience the excitement of staying in the woods in our open-air screened dormitories, exploring nature, and trying exciting new camp activities while making new friends.

A Chance to Grow in Confidence and Make New Friends

Our boys’ overnight camp offers the perfect opportunity for your son to grow in independence in a safe environment. During his time at camp, his Cubland program Cub Mother and our amazing camp counselors will become friendly, familiar faces. With their guidance, he will quickly adjust to the sleepaway camp experience as he stretches his wings, navigating the camp schedule. As your son learns to manage daily chores, getting to lunch on time, and learning new activity skills with his fellow Cubs, he will form lasting friendships, looking forward to attending our full 7-week Pack program with campers ages 10-15 in future years.

Fun and Exciting Summer Camp Activities

Each day at camp, your son will take part in the same camping schedule as The Pack, trying out traditional camp activities like hiking, swimming, crew, archery, rock climbing, woodworking, cooking, and more, uncovering hidden talents and making memories while having tons of fun. As a younger camper, he‘ll also have the flexibility to enjoy the jungle gym, tetherball, playing field, and library, deciding how he’d like to spend his day. With each achievement, he’ll earn ribbons (similar to Boy Scout badges), growing in confidence and striving to reach new levels with the support of his Mowglis family.
